Relief efforts have already come a long way in helping out. My thoughts on farming and ranching is that its all a complete gamble, sure there are some variables you can control but for the most part the fluctuating market and weather have the largest effects. So if something goes wrong in one of those your just out of luck. Farmers have tragedy as well and it will continue to happen. There is no way around it.
