this link will bring you to an opinion saying that we need to end slavery but I believe that the people who wrote or complained to the press about this are not that smart slavery is the least of our problems if they don't know probably some of their ancestors had slaves and those slaves might of been treated well not all the slaves were treated badly like it is portrayed in movies our four fathers had slaves and we don't think of them as crooks like the people who may have slaves now yes slavery is bad if the person who is enslaved is being abused but people really need to not stress over it because if the Government wanted it gone they would have done it a long time ago. the slaves where freed and it all depends on your definition of slavery these people must have things twisted to be making this such a big deal

the basic overview of the government shutdown is the republicans and democrats and fighting over the budget because of health care and they will not decide the budget because of the disagreements over the matter.
